I'm running the latest patched version of MWO, as of 10/30/2015, within a Crossover build of 14.1.10. The software is running on a Lenovo y510p gaming laptop which is running Ubuntu 14.04.

So far, MWO runs fairly well and installs smoothly using the default bottle. While running it, I have encountered some glitches which crash the GUI completely but leave an MWO process still running in the background. Most of the time, the glitch occurs while in the matchmaker waiting queue and seems to happen at the instance that the game toggles from waiting in the queue to actually entering into the game world for a drop.

I haven't been able to deliberately recreate the error yet.

Hmm.. that is an interesting one... but i think more of it has to do with the game encoding itself.

This game is on steam now.... so i think that if you install the CrossTie for Steam-Windows, you could just download and install the game from there.. i have yet to try it out... im still having now issues playing the game as is...

i haven't had any crashes...
