FIXED, Card support issue.

ok... so this actually violates the EULA... but i don't think that its a big deal... i didn't change the code of the game... but i did add a line into a text file...

I have been on the Cryengine site for a few weeks now talking to them about how their engine works... and they told me something about the .pak files...

that made me go looking... and in the MWO folder

/Program Files (x86)/Piranha Games/MechWarrior Online/Engine

you will see the Engine.pak file....

i opened it with the archive manager and went to /config/gpu and found the NVIDIA.txt file...

when i opened it... it gave a list of GPU's...

this i thought.... well it might be the compatility list...

well i was right...

i added this line to the txt file

0x10dE, 0x1381, 4 // GeForce GTX 750

now im not sure what the 4 does... but i thought it might have something to do with rating... seeing as how a GTX 550 was a 4 and a GTS 450 was a 3....

but either way the line for the 750 wasn't there and i put it in and started up the program and bingo... no more report of unsupported video card.

there is still a problem with the parsing error from before...

the path in linux to the file that im talking about is here...

/home/USER/.cxoffice/MechWarrior.Online/dosdevices/c:/Program Files/Piranha Games/MechWarrior Online/Engine

Again... i know that this technically violates the EULA from PGI... but I think that its the least of a violation ... besides.. .it fixed a problem... which is less than what they do on a yearly basis...

well... i guess this didn't work after all...

after a few times of starting up the card issue started coming up again.... even though the line is in there still.
