Just spent quite a while trying several different install possibilities and messing with option files etc.; I was able to get into the game, but not in a playable state; parts of the windows were drawing upside down and in the wrong places, and the game was plaguing me with error messages.
If anyone's interested in trying further, my greatest success was with a Win2000 bottle; none of the others I tried got anywhere.
