I've only used it for a short while, but it appears to work fine (if a little slowly) provided you have the symbol.ttf font installed.

I've been using it for about 3 years. Everything works fine. Even printing works with the newer versions! Initially I used Mathcad 2000 Beta which worked well, but could not print. I had to save the files as html and then print them that way. The new versions (11 and 2001i) both work completely, but the install process is very slow. In order to install 11 I needed to run the installer twice (It fails durning the first try) and then stalls for a while during the second attempt, but eventually finishes after about 20 minutes. I've installed it on 3 machines, and all of them had this same issue during the install. Nevertheless, once it is installed, it works flawlessly.
I need Mathcad 2001 Professional for my Open University maths course. Since the OU has a support Windows only policy, that is a problem for me, a Mac user.
Mathcad 2001 Professional seems to work fine with Crossover: Mac, but (as the original poster points out) you need to install symbol.ttf. A quick web search reveals to me that his can be found here.

I assume this is legal.
