You should be able to get .Net framework to install with CrossOver, but it still may not make MathCAD 14 work properly.
I've successfully gotten Mathcad 14 to run, by manually installing .NET 2.0, MDAC, MSXML and Visual C++ Runtime before installing Mathcad.
However, the toolbars won't show(the floating palettes works fine), and the equations show weird symbols instead of non-alphabetical and non-numerical characters.
Which effectively makes it useless.

Same here. The MathCAD installer was able to install everything except for MDAC. I downloaded and installed the newest version of MDAC and then the MathCAD installer was able to install MathCAD just fine. Same thing with the toolbars (standard and formatting bars don't show up but the Math one does) I haven't noticed the weird symbols yet but I haven't really used it much. I put in x:=7 and it gave me x=7. Like still said it's basically useless. Crashes a lot, even more than normal.
