I have been running mathcad 14 on 3 mint linux machines for over a year.
I found that it will install on crossover 9 (not 10) in a windows 2000 bottle. You also have to first install msoffice and internet explorer 6.0. It will produce all the non alpha numeric characters and even produces 3d graphics. The only problem I have had is saving files with 3d graphics in them. With mint 9 even these files can be saved without crashing. I have found that running mathcad 14 on linux with crossover is more stable than running on XP or Windows 7. Mathcad's memory leak will cause XP and 7 to lock up. On crossover mathcad may crash after a couple heavy duty renderings but at least I don't lose my whole system.
