Ok.. Please tell me how you made MathCad 11 work under Linux... I use Debian and I desperately need MathCad to work... I have a very high demand of Mathematics at my school, so until I get MathCad working, I quite frankly can't do shit... You can contact me at:

I'm guessing you used wine... But please, guide me through it...
I had similar problems (the installation screens didn't refresh properly when moving the mouse over them), but on the second try, it did let me continue the install. I had uninstalled the previous version of mathcad that I was using prior to installing version 11. I was running Fedora Core 2 with Crossover 4.2 at the time. It does take quite a while to install and will appear to be stalled during this time, nevertheless, if you run 'top' you will see that crossover is still keeping the processor busy. I had to wait almost 20 minutes on a 3.2 GHz machine. It may be that your specific setup causes the installation to act differently than mine. Once it is installed, it does run flawlessly. Best of luck to you. Please post back if you do get it working under Debian.
I've tried installing Mathcad 11 on Crossover 5.0 and it has the same install problems where it locks up partway through and then requires that you kill the locked windows (using xkill). After several tries, it eventually installed, but then had trouble locating the necessary DLLs. Some changes in the new version has broken the ability to install it... It tries to open it, but dies giving errors such as:

fixme:psdrv:PSDRV_ExtEscape QUERYESCSUPPORT(24) - not supported.
fixme:sync:CreateIoCompletionPort (0xffffffff, (nil), 00000000, 00000000): stub.

did you have a problem with netmsg.dll? My install on CO 5.1 complains that it cannot initialize this .dll and won't run.
