My OS is Kubuntu Lucid 10.04 using Crossover 9.1.
I can install the game in a new bottle with DirectX and C++ and all other runtimes. Install crashes at datasetup.exe but that doesn't really matter as I can launch masseffectlauncher.exe from the install directory. I use the configurator, click play game, the computer thinks for a while but doesn't launch the game.
I am using an nvidia GeForce GTS 250 with proprietary drivers.
