I was able to install the steam version of the game with no problems, however, when I try to play the game, the character models don't display, and the screen is constantly flashing all white.

I'm running CrossoverGames 9.0

My specifications are:

MacBook Pro 2,1
Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz
ATI Radeon X1600
Running OSX 10.6.4

Has anyone had this problem before? I'm thinking it might just be a driver related issue with the X1600, but if someone's had the same problem on a different card, it would be nice to be able to rule that out.

Firstly encountered the same flaw as well once it is running it constantly goes white and then crashes with 'serious error' wine warning. That is happens because of regression issue to latest gens of CXG i.e. it run comparative smoothly in 8.1.4 and won't to start whatever under 9.0.0.
So for the present moment it is starting over with:

• 10.5.8 OS X;
• CXGames 8.1.4 (guys from 'Mouse cursor issues' thread are using this ver. as well)
• winex11.drv, dinput.dll (don't forget to get overrides it to Mass Effect under winecfg)

you see iam tired a lil of ol' good staff that is generated by DOSboxer and encountered over then 14 years like redneck rampage so eager for something a bit freshy :) also I am a big fan of Bioware.

I currently have Mac OS Lion and no means to downgrade. Are there any developments to solve this rendering issue?
