I got the game to install but I keep on running into the same problem.
Whenever i start up the game and it'll flash a white screen and have
sounds that sound like its playing from a broken record.

I'm using the disc based EA version. Also upon start up it tells me
"You aren't using an authenticated disc please insert the authentic disc and try again"

The window that pops up name is "CD Key Authentication"

Hmm ... that could be a sign that the disc has some form of DRM that doesn't work under wine. The disc and its contents might be detected by wine, but if the DRM app can't run, then the game can't make sure your disc is legal.

That's my guess, anyway.

I'll give this a go using the Steam version and see if it works from there.

I installed the Steam version and am having a similar issue. The game launches. In the intro cut scenes no characters are present and the screen flickers with white boxes. Once you start playing as your character, the entire screen is white, and the game is completely unplayable.

After more experimentation, the issue seems to be full screen. I played around with Wineskin some and was able to play the game in windowed mode.

In the interest of simplicity, could you try enabling Virtual Desktop on a clean CrossOver bottle (no wineskin/winetricks) and try the game again?
