Installs but does not run - COG-8.1.3/linux

Probably related to the following error;

Cheers!

If this relates to Machinarium, why would you use Crossover to run and install it?

It is a Flash program and installs and runs very nicely as long as you play it in windowed mode.

It works perfectly in Ubuntu 8.04.4 and FLASH.

Cheers

Should actually relate to the Steam version all told - this probably
got overlooked -- I'll do abother Steam specific page up for it later..

Hi, I'm running the Steam Version.

I have an iMac 11,3 running OS X 10.6.5
2.93 gHz Intel Core i7 (quad)
8 gb ram
ATI Radeon HD 5750

All I get is a white screen.
Any suggestions?

Hi.

Perhaps offscreenrenderingmode=backbuffer in registry may help,
that sometimes does the trick on my 11,2/5670...

Cheers!

Yeah, I tried that. First I made a new key under software/wine/app defaults called Machinarium.exe. Here I made a mistake. The first time I made a string in the folder called OffscreenRenderingMode and set it to backbuffer. Then later I realized I needed to make another key inside the Machinarium.exe folder called Direct3d, and I made the string in THAT folder. Still got a white screen. I even tried creating a folder for Direct3D under software/wine for all of Steam, but it didn't work. I'm not terribly worried because I can play Machinarium on the Mac version of Steam, but if I could get it to play under windows, I'd need only one version of steam instead of two.
