Has anyone gotten the Notes 6.5.x client to connect to a Sametime^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing server?
When I try, the status bar just says "conecting..."
My next try is going to be to install the full Sametime Connect client..
The intergrated client does not work. It might work someday but not because someone
focused on making it work. There is an opensource project that adds the sametime
protocol to GAIM (http://meanwhile.sourceforge.net) which is the recommended way to use
sametime under Linux, the standalone client does work as long as you use http as your
transport.
THanks! If found the same thing on my own about using the Sametime Connect client and using http direct connection. Now to test online meetings...
