Insert CD?

I just installed LOTR BFME, and it keeps telling me that I'm inserting the wrong disc, but I'm not. How can I get this game to work? I'm using a black macbook from '08.

The Digital Rights Management (DRM) software in this program
prevents it from running in CrossOver. If you are in a legal jurisdiction
which allows removal of such software, you may have luck running this
program. Unfortunately, CodeWeavers, because they are subject to the
Digital Millennium Copyright Act, will be unable to support you.

yeah i am having that problem as well,

Hi,

Policy regarding DRM/DMCA on this website changed since I posted above.
Now you will see, in " The Fine Print: " at the bottom of the page (under
the Post Comment button)..;

"Please refrain from the mention of DRM circumvention, such as 'no-cd patches'."

Ergo, no answer can be given here (and I'll have to get this thread edited)...
apologies for the confusion..

Cheers!

Apologies for the edit.

You may be able to find more regarding this title by following along in the WineHQ database. But, applying the knowledge listed there to a Mac is difficult.

For the time being, this application does not run with CrossOver Games.

I will give this game a try on Linux and Mac and see what I can get out of it. You should be able to mount the CD inside Terminal but I'm not great with Mac's or Linux so someone may be able to point it out.
