Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth 2 Forum

For run this game, you need a NO-DVD crack and some skirmish profile files, tu put in the game's directory, because in the game you can't type anything in the profile name box. The game has a good performance, but the first loading is long more than 1 minute.

2.2 ghz Intel
128 mb of vram (Runs poorly on GMA950)

Hi Pussy Plaish, thanks for your instructions. It works a treat. Except I can't seem to find where to get some skirmish files. Any ideas?

Karim Borhanuddin, and any others, here's what to do about the skirmish files

1) Go to the C: drive, go to users; crossover; Application Data, My Battle For Middle Earth files.
2) There may be a skirmish file there already, in which case, skip to step 4.
3) Then, create (if in Mac, using Textedit), a file called Skirmish (with the capital S). Change the ending to .ini instead of .txt as is the default for Textedit. Within the Skirmish file, type:

CurrentUserName =
UserNames =

It is important that there are no spaces between the words and that there is a space before AND after the equals sign

4) After this, input your desired username in after the first equals sign, remembering to leave a space after the equals sign
5) Input the above username after the second equals sign as well. I'm not sure what to do if you want to add another user- I have no need for another, so have not tested this.
6) Play the game. Now, in the skirmish game mode, you should skip straight to choosing map/race etc., and all should run fine.
