So I run the Crosstie from within Crossover, let the download run overnight, and wake up to a frozen download and many, many many windows saying "Fatal error in gc" that I cannot close.
Did I do something wrong? Can I resume the download somehow, or do I have to start all over?
So the key question is: How do I get the download to resume?
Here's how: Hit Stop on the downloader. Tell it that you want to resume the download later. It will save a URL file to C:users\crossover\desktop. Tell Crossover to Skip This Step so that the installation will complete. Open that URL file in your favorite text editor. It will point to a file in ~/Library/Application Support/Crossover/. Drag that file into the bottle's C drive (I dropped in the Media Booster Folder). Launch it. The download will resume!
