Hi all
I am having an issue trying to start Lotro with pylotro: when I try to log in using pylotro the window hangs on "Checking account details..."
The game will patch ok, and I installed via the Crosstie for Lotro. This was all working fine for me on Ubuntu 11.10.
(Can log in fine on a Windows box, so not a password issue i dont think)
I'm running:
Ubuntu 12.04
Crossover 11.0.3
pylotro 1.15

I don't have the time to find it at the moment, but there is another recent thread about this problem.
It is probably over at WINE itself (appdb).
I don't know if there is a solution yet, but it appeared to be related to Ubntu.
I'll check later tonight.

I have found a solution for me. I compiled pylotro from source and it is working fine for me on ubuntu 12.04. Don't know whats up with the Windows version of pylotro and why it hangs at "Checking account details..."
I have the same problem with my Ubuntu 12.04 and Crossover 11.2. Is there any solution using crossover?
