Swift Travel Crash

I'm pretty new to the game, but I seem to get a consistent crash at the end of the Swift Travel loading screen; the full screen game window actually appears to minimize into the Dock, but the game has gone kaput.

This crash has also happened twice when zoning out of the Prancing Pony; until this point, I haven't had issues with entering/leaving areas like this.

Something will have changed if it has just started happening when it didn't before, so you need to work out what has altered (graphics drivers, version of cxg, etc).

If it was always occasionally doing it I would guess a memory overflow problem, when there is a sudden change in the graphics that need displaying (ie entering or leaving a building) it has to load a lot of the texture and if the settings are too high it crashes because of a memory violation (it can happen under Windows as well). The only thing I can suggest (as well as what I said above) is to start tweaking settings to improve the general performance.

It's always been doing it; however, switching the graphics to Very Low before using the stable master worked without crashing. I then switched the graphics back to Medium to continue playing (this was the level recommended for my card). Thanks for the suggestion.
