Input Not Working

I followed the excellent installation instructions here and elsewhere, and have the game launching successfully using LotROMac.app and Crossover. The game appears to come up just fine in full-screen mode, with the exception of extremely slow movie playback (I think they're .bik?). It takes me to the character creation screen, at which point all I can do is move the cursor around. The UI elements respond to hover events (if I mouseover a button, it highlights and/or gives me a tooltip), but when I click nothing seems to happen. Sometimes it looks like the screen dims slightly during a click, and then comes back. I'm also not getting anything from keyboard input (and movies aren't skippable via clicking, return, or escape, as I would have expected).

Any ideas what I've configured incorrectly?

Never mind, found the other post about the winxp vs. win2000 bottle issue. Hard to find when the thread name is just "Bug", heh.

Or fairly easy to find when the tips & tricks section clearly states that a windows 2000 bottle is needed, heh :)

It's a good thing I don't have to take reading comprehension tests anymore :oD.

Thanks for all your work on LotROMac and the ULL.

It's one of those strange things, you read it, understand it but for some reason when you get around to doing it you forget to change the windows version. I've done it myself several times (both with LOTRO and other things) but it is only the windows version that eludes my memory, very strange.
