There have been a couple threads started already about this problem, but just to quickly reiterate, I login using the client and then get a screen titled output which just says FINISHED

On one of the other threads, someone recommended installing C++2005 and Directx9, both of which can be done using CXG. But for some reasons I don't see these listed under possible software I can install? Is this because I'm running a trial version of CXG?

Are there any tips people have for resolving the FINISHED issue?

You will need to enable your view of the additional packages in CrossOver.

On the Mac:

At the title bar, highlight "CrossOver Games" and choose "Preferences"

Select 'Installer Assistant'

Uncheck 'Hide Service Packs and Dependencies'

On Linux:

Check 'Show service packs and dependencies' in the Install Wizard

Now, additional packages will be visible, including DirectX and MS Visual C++ 2005 redistributable.

FINISHED bug was resolved by installing VisualC++.
