Greetings,

I was wondering if someone can help me with this. I have Lotro working great through Crossover Games but the only problem I really have is the voice chat. I can't get my usb headset to work through Lotro for the life of me, even though it works fine in bootcamp. Does anyone else have this problem?

How do you all use voice chat?

Any help on getting this to work would be GREATLY appreciated!

I'm assuming you're on a Mac. So you have to make sure that you set the usb mic as your input.
type 'audio' in the spotlight search and click on 'Audio MIDI Setup'
Select the USB mic
pulldown the preferences at the bottom (next to the + and -) and choose 'use this device for sound input'
That should enable the mic for you.

I should have mentioned I was on a Mac, sorry!

That works great. Odd, it seems to be the same as just going into Sound under system preferences and that wasn't working. This worked though.

I figured by your email that you were using a Mac :)

I had a similar issue when trying to record something via my line in when I stumbled across the Audio/MIDI setup. It's always nice to have another way to figure something out. System Pref/Sound should have worked since that's the most obvious choice, but who knows why it didn't, that's beyond my understanding.
