Poor stability on 2010 MBP

Hi all,

I have a 2010 Macbook Pro 17" i7.

I'm using Pylotro and Crossover to play. Lotro seems to run fine, in a manner of speaking, but moving around creates a lot of "hitching" (presumably from loading textures and such) and the game crashes often, sometimes when I'm doing nothing but standing in one place. Occasionally, the ground texture will disappear.

I run the game windowed. Does that cause stability issues? Anyone have any insight?

Thanks.

Performance still poor on Crossover 9.1

LOTRO crashed while trying to enter a building (instance) almost immediately after upgrading.

After trying to run LOTRO on v 9.1 since yesterday, it would seem that performance has gotten even worse. It now crashes at least twice as much as before, especially when a loading screen is involved.
