Medic, my pylotro client updated and installed fine I think. I goto a login and it hangs on checking account details and never goes any farther. no error nothing. ☹️

It's possible you are hanging on the "queue."

Check the PyLotRO "log" files to see if there is anything informative there. They are XML files.

.../Bottles/<bottle>/drive_c/users/crossover/Application Data/PyLotRO/

probably start with ... "GLSAUthServer.config" It should have a "<Ticket>" tag if successfully authorized.

The file "server.config" should have several "<...Queue> tags (not certain what they all mean).

You can get some queue information from:
http://status.warriorsofnargathrond.com/?numbers
This server only updates periodically (every 5 minutes maybe), so the que number won't be accurate to the minute.

will get you information about "Gladden".]

VERY good point there. Most of the regulars on this board are paying members, if not lifetime subscribers. We are given priority for login, so we almost never encounter this problem.

What version of PyLotRO are you using as this sounds like your game account isn't associated with your user account, the latest PyLotRO 0.1.14 displays a message if that is the case.

Or it could be the queueing mechanism as it never has been tested.

ok checked the log files and found nothing about a waiting list and I'm useing the the new py.however I am useing the new linux mint 10 and I've been reading that it seems to just hang on the newer version ten's of unbutu. any Ideas on a work around?
