Lotro freeze

Hi all, so I am not very good with computers and I was wondering if someone could help me. So i installed lotro and pylotro through crossover 10.0 and everything and i am able to run the game. It starts up, gets through the first page, then the turbine logo page, then the video, however, when it goes to the loading screen with the 4 characters pictured on it(the man/hobbit/elf/dwarf) the loading bar loads all the way then nothing. I have waited at that screen for over 5 minutes but nothing happens.
Any help would be appreciated

Download a copy of CrossOver GAMES!

Crossover (pro) and CrossOver Games (CXG) are different downloads, and they behave differently for game playing.

Also, the current version of CXG is 10.1

ok thanks i will, is there a way i can keep my bottle with everything in it for when i get crossover games? that way i dont have to reinstall everything

After you install CrossOver Games, you do not need to re-install the game, but that is the cleanest and easiest (although most time consuming) way to ensure a "known state."

After you install CXG, you should re-run the CrossTie installer to create a new bottle and install the appropriate software into it. You can speed things up by skipping the game download -- by changing the name of the new bottle in the CrossTIe installer screen.

When the "CrossOver Software Installer" window pops up, do the following:
1- on the 3rd line "Will install into a new winxp bottle"
-- on the right, click on the "edit" button and change the "new bottle name"
to say, "LOTRO, then click "done."
2- click install in the lower right, watch the progress and allow all of the Microsoft and PylotRO installs to complete. (accept all the various licenses, and wizard questions.)
3- Once the Pando Media Booster installer begins, simply terminate it by clicking cancel, then click "skip this step" in the next CXG installer pop-up. Then close all the windows which opened and click "done" on the lower right of the installer.
4- Open a Finder window and navigate to <you>/Library/Application Support/CrossOver Games/bottles.
There you should see the new bottle you just created and the old bottle.
Continue to navigate to the ...<old bottle>/drive_c/Program Files/
There you will see a folder "Turbine".

5- Open ANOTHER finder window and again navigate to <you>/Library/Application Support/CrossOver Games/bottles.
This time, continue to navigate to your new bottle ...<new bottle>/drive_c/Program Files/
You will note there is no "Turbine" folder.
Drag the "<old_bottle>/drive_c/Program Files/Turbine" folder
to the "<new_bottle>/drive_c/Program Files" folder.

Close your finder windows.

CXG should still be running (check your dock) if not re-launch it by clicking on "
/Applications/CrossOver Games.app"
under the pulldown "Programs" there should be two PyLotRO entries -- "PyLotRO<old_bottle>" and
"PyLotRO<new_bottle>" select "<new_bottle>PyLotRO"
When PyLotRO launches, select "Tools/Settings Wizard;" click "find games;" click on the entry found; click apply.
Another patch is expected during the server downtime on Monday (11 April), so click "Patch" then Start" and when " Finished " appears, click exit.
Select your server (Realm) and Language; enter your Userid and password and you should be good to go...
