So my trial version of CXG ran out but around 15 gigs of my hard
drive is still in use because I cannot delete that bottle since I
cant access it because it says i need to buy or upgrade to manage
bottles. I downloaded and installed lotro through the trial version
which is what has taken up that space.
Any ideas?
There are several steps/questions here... go to:
<your account>/Library/Application Support/
1- if you want to completely eliminate CXG AND LOTRO from your system ---
A- drag (or right-click) the folder "CrossOver Games" to the trash.
This is where all of the bottles for CXG reside.
(and virtually all of the 15GB)
B- drag (or right-click) the folder:
<you>/Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online" to the trash.
This eliminates the LOTRO preferences files, screen shots, plugins, etc.
C- drag (or right-click):
/Applications/CrossOver Games.app
into the trash to eliminate the CXG application.
D- drag (or right-click):
<you>/Library/Preferences/com.codeweavers.CrossOverGames.plist
to the trash.
E- empty the trash.
2- if you purchase CXG, all you need to do is to register it when it launches and it will use the same bottle as was previously created.
