PMB problems

Ok, so I downloaded the game from https://www.lotro-europe.com and started the installation with CrossTie.
Everything worked fine until the "Instaling Lord of the rings online" part.
The downloader opens but just says "instaling pando media booster" and nothing happens and now it has been going for hours!
What is worng, any ideas? (I have a Mac os x)

For Europe, you cannot use the PBM installer. It is "set" to use the NA servers.

When the CrossTie installer loads, on the second line "Will download the installer from..." click on the "right pointy."
(or click edit.)

This will expose a list of things it finds on your desktop that might be LOTRO installers,
a "Choose Installer File" and a "Choose Installer Folder entries.

If the Europe download file is on your desktop, it should show up as something like "lotrostandard.exe"
(which is the NA lo-rez installer). Click on that if it is the correct file you previously downloaded.
If that file is not visible, click "Choose Installer File" and select where ever your download is located.
The CrossTie installer will change to read something like "Will install from <user> > Desktop > <filename>
Then click "done" on the right side of that line.

Then click "install" at the bottom of the CrossTie Installer Window and you should be good to go.

Try using the updated TIE file now. You should be able to get the EU installers by changing the language in the top panel of the installer window.

The downloader dose not show up, so i "choose instaler file", but the PMB still pops up when it starts to download the game...

Btw is "LOTROEU_Enedwaith_EN_GB_DOWNLOADER.exe" the right instaler?

Are you clicking on the "Install via CrossTie" button here and using CrossOver Games 10.1? ...or are you using some other method that isn't working?

It's upside down because you're using an old version of CrossOver Games.

Ah, ok thanks!

Yes, that is the correct installer for the EU English version of LOTRO.

You have an old/no-working version of something.
This was one of the primary characteristics of 10.0 and earlier versions of CXG.

Under 10.1 the Pando Media Booster downloader appears right side up with text not reversed.
I.e. the Text is readablle and the image is correct.

Ok now I have 10.1 and the downloaders works fine
But when there finished and I unmark the box that says "lunch lord of the rings online" and click "finish", it closes and nothing else happens
cxg stil says "Installing Lord of the rings online - in process..."
This is what I have done:

  1. Click on download with CrossTie
  2. Change languige to English (UK) and the lotro eu installer
  3. Installed all the other packages
  4. gone throught the download and installation part of lord of the rings online
  5. uncheck the two boxes and click finish
And here it stops and nothing else happens
