I am running on a 2010 Macbook Pro 17" i7 2.66 with 8GB RAM and the 330M graphics card.
LOTRO will not run at all unless I first disable Pixel Shader in winecfg. I can't even get to the login screen. It simply crashes on startup and gives me the white Abort window.
After disabling pixel shader, I can start up LOTRO, and the game starts in 640x480. I go to Options to change the graphics setting to match my screen resolution, and I get a blank white screen with the LOTRO game "ring" icon in the upper left corner. I can click the ring and I get an option to "Restore". When I select Restore, the screen goes black and Crossover locks up entirely and I have to force-quit. So, LOTRO will not run on Crossover at all in fullscreen unless I want to stay at 640x480.
If I switch to windowed, I am able to launch LOTRO and change the graphic settings to the proper screen resolution and play the game.
I can run with draw distance and certain settings on High, but anti-aliasing is disabled without the pixel shader. I also experience a lot of hitching while moving around... perhaps that is also related in some way.
Is this a problem specific to the 330M graphics card? Anyone else having this sort of problem?
