Downloader stuck at "Installing Lord of the Rings Online"

Everything downloads properly in CrossOver Games until I get to actually installing the game. It appears to have finished, I uncheck "Launch Lord of the Rings Online" as instructed in the Tips & Tricks, but once I press Finish, the downloader fails to move on and just continues to say "Installing Lord of the Rings Online" indefinitely even though I finished that part. I tried exiting CrossOver and then opening it again and resuming the download, but that made me download LOTRO all over again and it still got stuck at the same part. Any suggestions?

Close but no cigar!

1- See my web page for more detailed instructions....

The download is not the issue.
The Turbine installer fails, with different symptoms each time...:) then you have to terminate it, then click "done."

BTW: which Tip&Trick are you referring to? -- "Installation help?

When you say "downloader fails to move on" what do you mean by "downloader?" ... The "blue box" Pando Media Boster PBM is the downloader. To the best of my knowledge it does its job with no problems. (Assuming you have the current version of CXG 10.1.2 for Mac.) The Turbine Installer takes over once the PMB has completed the download. The actual game download can take 6-10 hours!. Once the Turbine installer kicks in, it will take another several hours, depending on your CPU speed and disk drive situation.

Thanks to the detailed instructions you provided the link to, I actually figured out what I'd done wrong and fixed it.

Thanks so much!
