Logos Series X Installed OK (not without problems), icon type menus have got their words garbled. Tried to do an update as per previous threads but after update LDLS.exe will not run.

Searched around and found /home/username/.local/share/Applications/Libronix Update (update.exe). So I made sure I'm connected to the internet and ran the update, it ran and seem to pick up where it left off last time, went through another set of updating on its own and resetted the shortcuts on its own and when finished the menu worked once again.

So if any of you reading this, and also find that after updating you can't run Logos again, this means that the update was not completed properly and has to be re-run some how.

More on installation in Ubuntu (Hoary). There is an inconsistent glitch when using the Location Manager and putting in the CD, the application often crashes if putting in the next CD (this was reported elsewhere). However I managed to put in all that was necessary. I was also able to successfully Restore Licences.

Update Libronix worked OK.

Now lets explore the functionality.....

I am checking the betas at the moment... just installed last night. But remember, we are not allowed to report on beta/prerelease stuff here in the forum.

Hi, concerning your upgrade problem (i know i'm writing this way after you have written it), the tips and tricks (and known issues) section both documented it. Feel free to modify them to explain things better though.
