I decided to make a separate topic about its libraries
I have an iMAC 2007 WITH OSX 10.7.4 and installed it using a blank win xp bottle, but the game failed to run properly (blue square with backness). In the manual it states that:
Legend of Grimrock uses the following third party libraries. See the accompanying license file for details.
- Lua 5.1.4 Copyright (c) 1994-2008 Lua.org, PUC-Rio. -> I found v5.2.1 and lua51.dll is in the install folder
- LuaJIT Copyright (c) 2005-2012 Mike Pall. -> I found v1.18
- FreeImage Copyright (c) Initial Developer. -> I found v3.15.3 and Freeimage.dll is in the install folder
- Zlib (c) 1995-2010 Jean-loup Gailly and Mark Adler. -> I installed it from Crossover, but had no effect
- Libogg Copyright (c) 2002, Xiph.org Foundation. -> I found v1.3.0
- Libvorbis Copyright (c) 2002-2008 Xiph.org Foundation. -> I found v1.3.3
- Freetype-2.4.8 Copyright 1996-2002, 2006 David Turner, Robert Wilhelm, and Werner Lemberg.-> I found v2.4.10
Do I need to install the others? The uncompressed folders contain a lot of files and I have no clue which to select for installment. Crossover won't let me install a .dll file anyway.
I managed to get the game to work with the wine wrapper mentioned in the other Grimlock forum post, which makes me wonder if it's not library related.
