Version 8.1.3, but I'll try 8.1.4 right away. Thanks for the fast reply!

8.1.4 fixes the issues and the game completes the update and runs again. Thanks a lot!

Woah, jezz. Don't freak us out like that. ;)

L4D2 doesn't work with 8.1.3. The only way to get it to run, at the moment, is with the unsupported 8.1.4 build.

Yep that's the error i'm getting, I just got the game and installed and can't play.

for all of u getting the installation errors, just update to CXG 8.1.4 and u wont get any of those errors pr crashes anymore, at least most of us arent. set ur settings to lowest graphics settings and 4:3 screen mode and you're all good to go.
