Hey, Is there anyone out there that has a problem running LFD2 where the screen will go black with a green static line across it? I've looked everywhere for this issue. Contacted steam, and they suggest uninstalling/re-installing display drivers. This is only game where that comes up. Can someone please help out with a fix to this issue before I go screwing up my display.

NVIDIA GTX 275
3.2 GHZ Quad
8GB RAM
DirectX 11

I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place. These forums are for users running Windows games (like L4D2) on platforms other than Windows -- that is, Mac OS X or Linux -- using our CrossOver Games product.
So, if you're running Windows 7 then you're not using CrossOver Games, and this isn't the right place to ask your question. Best of luck finding a solution!

You may want to not tell anyone you came here for help... although... I had a pretty good laugh...
And because I had a laugh, I'll recommend that you try something like right-clicking the shortcut (within steam, not on your desktop), click properties, click launch options and type in -dxlevel 90
This is assuming you haven't messed with your video driver setup outside of the game.
Seriously, go to the steam forums and I'll help you there if I see your post.
Also... have you thought about switching to Linux?
