I don't know if you guys hear this enough, but a big thank you for all the work the last few days in getting Left 4 Dead 2 up and running. I'd like to buy you all a beer and make a toast from all of of us, Thank you for all the hard work you've done and continue to do.

Woohoo. Glad you got it working. I'm buying the full copy of the game today. :)
There might be a few issues still (just crashed after finishing part 3/4 of a level) but it is quite playable and really good. I'm sure some of these bugs are Valve related. You should get it, worth the cash. Use the latest Beta 8.1.0rc3
I posted my steam stats in a TF2 Post, but here they are again if you want to add me in and play some L4D2 or TF2 together.
What version of Mac OS X is best supported with the L4D games in CXG? I'm currently running 10.5.8 with a MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz 4GB RAM and an nVidia 8600. I have a Snow Leopard disc sitting right here but haven't upgraded yet due to lack of need. If 10.6.2 runs L4D or L4D2 better on my hardware under Snow Leopard I'd upgrade.

Well since the update this weekend past, I'm back to incomplete installation (2). It's a Valve/Steam issue, Codeweavers are working on a fix.
