Hi,
I just installed the cxgames 9 beta. The new steam runs just fine with it. So far tested only one game, l4d2, but that runs very slow. I get about 15-20 fps with all low settings and 1680x1050 resolution. With 8.1.4 it was running smoothly. My specs are linux/3GHz Core 2/4GB RAM/nvidia 260GTX, which should be adequate...
Any tips?
Edit: just submitted a ticket for this.
Can confirm that, very bad performance with 9.0 beta. In 8.14 i had around 30-55 fps with all settings high, but in 9.0 i only get around 15-20 with all set to low. Hope this will improve in the final version
Tigger, thanks for the ticket. You'll probably be asked for which graphics driver you're using.
