Woah. Just saw the forum, and nearly all the posts here are like 10 years ago!
I had an Intel-based i7 2.3GHz MacBook Pro before, and it runs L4D2 well. The game is pretty smooth even if I set the graphics and resolution to high. Right now, I switched to M2 Max, and I'm running the game below 1080p, but the game is kind of laggier than the i7 computer. I remember I set the game to about 1080p on the i7 MacBook, and it ran smoothly all the way.
Is it my illusion, or does everyone using Apple Silicon Macs have the same situation here? M2 Max can even handle GTAV smoothly at 2560*1600, and it cannot even handle an older game in relatively low resolution?
Really need some feedback and comments here🙏
