Last Chaos Forum

I have noticed a trend with the people who say it works. They are all Linux users. I have a Mac OS Snow Leopard. I don't know if Mac OS can play this Last Chaos, but I am hoping when I download 8.1.4 I can play it. I just tried opening Last Chaos and immediately got a 'Send Error Report?' I clicked 'No' and it said 'This game has detected a serious issue ect.' I clicked 'Close' Then the same 'Send Error Report' thing came up. I clicked 'No' again and the game closed. If memory serves, LC only works with Linux for CXG 8.x. Not sure about the upcoming 9.0. Haven't had time to play with it.

Hold out for 9.0. :)

No. Current CrossOver Games version is still 9.0.0 beta-something. :) CrossOver Pro is at 9.0.1

I just downloaded the latest beta, and the LC installer crashed.

I just downloaded the CXG 9.0b4 and it still doesn't work :/

I use MAC os X Snow leopard (CXG Version 9.0b1 (9.0.0)) and the only problem i've had is a blank white screen with the sound of the game.
(if i log without watching the screen, it have a sound that prove me it work so the keyboard work perfectly and the gam should also, only a video issue...)

I don't even get music. I just get a black screen with a 'Send Error Report' box on it.

Last Chaos on the mac does not work due to gameguard issues. It works on linux.

Do you know when you will get the gameguard issue under control? I have heard that you have been trying to get Aeriagames to approve of letting you use it, is that right?

I made a quick video how to get it to work on a trial of crossover games now i use wine to run it (wine bottler)

OS X Server
Mac Mini
4gb
Graphic 320m
2.66 intel duo core

Here's how;
You need: Crossover games 8.0
Wine/WineBottler
x11 (part of wine bottler)
down full 600mb client use cross over install it.

Now run it Program>command run >select bottle>select installer>choose desktop>make a folder on desktop named last chaos>install>run launcher>let it patch>click start (game)>

YOU WILL GET A WHITE SCREEN PRESS

APPLE + W ---- TWICE
(apple is command)

I had to press it 2 times you might need it less or more.

If the music in the background isn't playing quit app restart computer and try again - cheers.
