King's Quest II+ (Romancing the Stones) _is_ a Linux game

It uses an interpreter that runs on Linux and Windows. Problem is, the video for the game is Windows specific. The game itself works fine when the windows executable is converted to a datafile and ran with the Linux version of the interpreter (this is the intended procedure for games primarily distributed as Windows EXEs); but only if the video is hacked out (or at least it did in ubuntu 7.10). Seems like this should be hackable through the wine tools to run game nativity but play the videos with wine, instead of butchering the game.
