Works perfectly fine using Crossover Games 10.1. If it crashes during loading screens, you need to install the Microsoft VisualC++ 6.0 runtime - chances are you already have it installed if you have several Steam games installed, as quite a few come with that runtime.
I noticed a glitch with the water shader, no idea if it's Crossover's or the driver's fault, but it's easily fixable: In the options, set "Water appearance" to normal.

Does it work when Dragon is promoted? In previous versions, a crash occurs when the Dragon has earned enough experience to level up and the promotion dialog shows up. It works well otherwise.
Yes. No issues at all. My dragon is level 9 I believe, so I've seen this particular dialogue many, many times already. The game works just fine.
Nice, do you mind listing your configuration and any custom settings that you may have added so that it can help out others. :)
I did nothing special, no custom config or anything. It's all vanilla. Just set up a Steam bottle with the Visual C++ 6.0 runtime, downloaded the game, hit "Play", done.
1c just released native mac port of this game so I guess we can move on and focus on something else.
