Status - Not working.... (I hope yet)

I bought this game trough orgin.
The install works fine, game starts.
Colors and graphics are good...

But when the game realy starts (you have to play), the mouse/keyboard input no longer works :(

Tried running it in window mode aswell same problem appears.

Running from Ubuntu 11.04 64bit.
With crossover linux 11.0.3

My ranking for now...
Known not to work

Greets,

Tom

... keyboard & mouse can probably be got working using the
raw3.patch on that page and recompiling your winecore (that
patch has worked for half a dozen titles I have affected by
the same bug, so it may work here as well)...else, you'll
need to wait for the proper fix for the bug...

.

edit: you might email the Ninjas and ask for this app to be
added to our bug 8340 ...

I know it has to do with that bug...
Although i can't find a way to use that patch for one bottle though...
I don't want to use the patch to bottles that don't need it.

So if you can enlighten me in how to do that, i would appreciate that :)

..can't be done on a per bottle basis ; if you don't want to
patch your crossover wine build, then use wine pure instead
(although I've been running a patched cxwine since 11.0 was
released and haven't seen any problems with other apps using
the patch) ... to patch/recompile crossover, see ;

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/forums/advocate/?t=1;forumcurPos=50;msg=122366

...the procedure for wine pure is roughly the same...

.

Ah thanks,

Will look into it, i'm now testing with PlayOnLinux (there you can install pre-patched wine versions).
Keyboard and mouse seem to work in it..
Although the colors aren't it's all basic RGB (very bright colors).

So i guess that patching the wine is the way to go.
