Killing Floor

Installs and runs from Steam, the menus work, but when I try to start a game I get the loading screen and then the game crashes. I tried copying all the files into a separate bottle on it's own, and managed to get to a lobby screen, then it came up with a Steam error (as Steam was not in the bottle).

same posting the screen shot of the error i got :P

anyone get it running? =]

I have tested this using version 7.1.1.

The game loads fine. However once loaded the unreal engine mouse bug appears. The mouse appears bounded by an invisible box until you mouse the mouse too far the opposite edge and then move the mouse back.

Joining a multiplayer game with D3D 9.0 ends up with the mouse not moveable at all, although the game appears to run fine.

Joining a solo game with D3D 9.0 still has the mouse not moveable problem but the game textures seem overly bright and therefore gives the graphics a messed up look.

Joining a multiplayer game with D3D works however the mouse bug is in there and therefore you cannot rotate 360 degrees.

Joining a solo game with D3D crashes for me.

Is there a mouse bug in the later versions?

I just upgraded to 7.2.1 to see if that would help things.

No change for me, same old unreal engine 2 mouse bug in the menus and in game. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this bug please let me know!

Once I join a multiplayer game I am unable to move the mouse at all, so I can't press the ready key to start play.

After a while at the ready screen the game exits.

Just tried multiplayer on D3D 9.0 and first time, I got stuck at the loading screen, there was still data transfer, so I was still connected to the server, but the game wouldn't load, anymore attempts to run it after that resulted in crashing at the loading screen, I have noticed that mouse problem a couple of times on the menu.

I'm running Linux, so maybe it's a difference between the Mac and Linux versions.

lol i guess there is a difference im using a mac and i can load it but i just get an error ^^;;
so in the long run you have nothing lost since both mac and linux doesn't work xD

i can get into a game (very challenging with all the mouse bug action)
but then i think the mouse gets stuck in the little box again, and i cant select my oerk, and i havent even been able 2 try out walking around/moving my mouse, let alone shoot anything...
hope theres an update 2 fix thusis or sumthing,

yes i think i did the mouse 'fix' right... i hope lol
