Perfect solution - update caveat

I use the superb 1-Password as my principal password manager on Mac. However, I wanted a backup program and one which I could also use as my principal password manager on my Windows ME laptop, to keep synchronized. KeePass is the perfect solution. It runs flawlessly on CrossOver, and runs on all versions of Windows on the PC. As I had ME, I installed KeePass in a Windows 98 bottle in CrossOver without incident. It is quite a powerful program, with lots of documentation. Highly recommended. Continues to performed as expect on CrossOver 8.0.1. Continues to perform as expected under 9.0.1 Pro.

Caveat - Keepass now comes in open-source versions for Windows, Mac, and Linux and databases work across the OS platforms. This in effect removes the need to run Keepass on CrossOver. Furthermore, the new Windows version requires the .Net Framework to be installed. I didn't have that in my test Windows 98 bottle and so the update would not work properly. I have now switched to the individual versions for each platform.
