The game will play in 7.1.1 but NOT in 7.2.0

My MacBook Pro:
CPU: 2.4 Ghz Intel Core Duo
RAM: 4 GB 667 Mhz DDR SDRAM
OS: 10.5.6
HD: 300 GB + 1 TB Firewire External drive
Graphics: GeForce 8600M GT

I've found an unusual situation with this game. The game will play under Crossover Games 7.1.1 but running it under 7.2.0 causes it to crash to the desktop. Both versions have trouble displaying the menu correctly and the cutscenes play with glitchy compression errors (I think this is now called 'datamoshing')
