Fix for the "Blank Window" Syndrome

Hi,
As of CX Office 4.2, Java based windows applications, such as the Java VM control panel or JHymn, will load but their windows are are blank; they are just solid windows gray. This appears to be a DirectDraw bug, because turning off DirectDraw fixes it. This can be accomplished by selecting the "Settings" tab in Office Setup, clicking the "Advanced" button, then unselecting "Enable DirectDraw." Be warned that this will cause many other applications to stop functioning correctly. I have not tested Java applets in IE with DirectDraw disabled (I simply wanted to get JHymn working, which it now does, minus library updating.)

Hope this helps,
Matthew D'Asaro
