iTunes 7.6 Forum

iTunes 7.6 works (mostly) with Crossover Office 7.0.

I can confirm this with Crossover 7.0.2 in a winxp bottle

Things I have tested and which WORK:

• Playing music from library (of course the most important function)
• Listen radio
• Browsing iTunes Music Store
• Subscribe to podcasts and download them
• Listen previews in the iTunes Music Store
• Buying music from iTunes Store
• Playing music bought from iTunes Store

Things which DOESN'T WORK:

• Burning CDs (as with every earlier Crossover and iTunes Version)

I will try to get it work with my iPod within the next few days and will post here an update afterwards.

UPDATE

Things I have tested and which WORK:

• Sharing the music library and playing it on other computers (appears immediately)
• Playing shared music libraries from other computers (appears immediately)

Currently not. Without any modifications iTunes detects an iPod and shows an error message about missing files/registry. At the next step I've got iPodService.exe to run and the error message was gone, but iTunes doesn't show the iPod.

I'm currently searching for the remaining registry key and/or services.

How do you run the IpodService?
