iTunes Lives again.

Good news! 😀

iTunes is working on CX 7.0 Beta2. Specifically iTunes 7.6 is working on CX 7.0 Beta2 on Kbuntu 8.04. It installs, and runs without any special tricks. 

What works :  
    1.  It can find and play music  
    2.  It can play DRM encrypted files from the iTunes music store.  
    3.  It can load the iTunes music store.  
    4.  The previous issues with the GUI seem to be fixed.  

What does not :  
     1.  Still no support for the CD drive  
     2.  Does not see iPods.  
     3.  The iTunes music store is not rendering correctly.  
     4.  Does not play video  
     5.  Its very slow.
