I just installed CrossOver 6 beta, just so that I could preview the iTunes support, and I have to say I am not impressed. Yeah it installs, but so what. When I try to connect to the iTunes store it says that I don't have an internet connection. But I do!
And if I still can't connect my ipod without doing all the modifications, it is still no good to me.
iTunes support is still the only thing that keeps me from buying CrossOver. I hope the GA release is going to be better.
Yeah, I just purchased Crossover Office 5.0.3 for the sole purpose of using iTunes in Ubuntu Edgy, and then I found myself unable to log in - and most of all - I found I was not alone.
Please fix this, Codeweavers!
Otherwise, this should be freely available software.
I love the work you guys have done thus far, just please do get iTunes working - I need it!
