I just installed iTunes 4.9 under , but it required the following procedures:

  1. Open ~/.cxoffice/cxoffice.conf
  2. Add this line under the [OfficeSetup] section: "HardwareAcceleration" = "Emulation"
  3. Use the Install Windows Software program and install iTunes.

Note: If you see a black screen for one or two minutes, do not panic... be patient and let it go.
