I just installed CW 4.0, then iTunes with Ubuntu/GNOME 2.8. I can purchase and download music from the store, but there is no audio when I play the music. Is there an audio setting in GNOME or elsewhere that should be adjusted?

Does the "time elapsed" indicator start increasing? If so, that means that the music is playing, but for some reason isn't coming out of your speakers. The most likely problem is that the one of the volume settings for your soundcard is set to minimum or muted (as happened to me).
