iTunes & Quicktime error

I have installed iTunes and Quicktime on arch (0.7 Wombat kernel 2.6.9) with CX 4.0.0 but neither quicktime or itunes will start, I Get an error message saying QuickTime failed to initialize. Error # -2093 Please Make Sure QuickTime is installed properly on this Computer.
