Latest Version

Just tested the latest version -- 3.91 --

Using CrossXOver 3.0.0 - install went smooth. Application works great. Tested many graphic formats. Doesn't work well with video's yet. This could be something on my end, but the videos right now are crash and burn.

Irfan view is mainly for graphic images.
Video's are a gift and run over the old video for windows (vfw) system.
Better known as MCI interface.
Gordian knot and other codec packages are more the direct show interface
based. Irfanview can't handle d.show so the newest asf/wmv 7/8/9
formats can't be played with it normal.
I wish it was true but linux mplayer play's the wmv(10) hdtv here also.
Try the orginal windows mplayer2 (6.4 for NT) .

Thanks, I didn't succeed in playing video indeed, as you already expected. Luckily, the other functions of Irfan View work smooth.
