Internet Explorer 7 Forum

I try to intall in ubuntu 10.10 32 bit system and everything on the install goes fine but on the part the IE7 installer pops up at the end it asks for reboot now or later.. either option gives me a " An error occurred while running the 'Installing Internet Explorer 7.0' task:
The installer has exited but Internet Explorer 7.0 does not seem to be installed" and I retry-ed lots of times and get the same error and eventually have to exit or skip and it doesn't work :s helpp

I am currently trying to use the ie7.tie to install M$ie7.

the install won't get past the 'preparing to download' part of the install.

• it never D/Ls anything - the 'net connection shows no activity.

this is using cx10 & ubuntu 10.04

any ideas?.
